Mindful Eating
The following exercise may assist you in developing internal awareness during the process of eating and digesting. If you choose to download the attached handout, you can use the form to observe your hunger and satiety levels, as well as the thoughts and feelings that emerge during the eating process. Make sure that you have sufficient privacy and a dedicated amount of undisturbed time for the exercise.It is best to sit at a comfortable chair and table during the exercise with a selection of food that you enjoy within easy reach. There are no right or wrong ways to complete the exercise. Practice curiosity and be open to new discoveries of your culinary preferences.
