Rebekah Jackson - Psychology Intern

Rebekah Jackson is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Hartford's Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology in Connecticut. She recently moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to join the CAPS staff at Duke for her pre-doctoral internship year. Her professional interests include multicultural/diversity issues, the culture of women, eating disorders and body image concerns, mindfulness, and creative arts in therapy. Rebekah has developed a sexuality and gender diversity training program for mental health professionals as her dissertation project, which she has facilitated in a variety of settings. Rebekah is a student affiliate of the American Psychological Association, and recently finished her two-year term on the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students’ Committee for LGBT Concerns.
