Rolffs Pinkerton, Ph.D, ABPP - Staff Psychologist

Rolffs received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia and did his psychology internship at Emory University/Georgia Mental Health Institute. He later completed a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology in the Department of Psychiatry, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. 

Rolffs is former Director of the Psychology Internship Program. He holds an appointment as Associate Clinical Professor of Medical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Duke University Medical Center. Rolffs’ areas of special interest include supervision, training, mental health consultation, psychotherapy, and Latina/o mental health. He has contributed theoretical and practice articles to the literature in college student psychotherapy — notably; brief psychotherapy, very brief  psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and consultation.

Rolffs is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology, ABPP. He is a Fellow in the Academy of Clinical Psychology.  He is a member of the American Psychological Association, and the National Latina/o Psychological Association (NLPA).
