Jessica Jones - Psychology Intern
Jessica Jones is a doctoral student in the counseling psychology doctoral program at the University of Florida. She recently joined CAPS for her pre-doctoral internship year. Jessica’s research interests have primarily focused on multicultural issues in clinical and health psychology. As a clinician, Jessica provides career, individual, and group counseling at CAPS and her clinical interests include identity development, depression, stress and anxiety, diversity issues, interpersonal development, and sexual and other trauma-related issues. She uses an integrative framework in her clinical work, drawing from interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and multicultural practices. Jessica also provides outreach programming related to diversity as well as issues related to women and men of color in higher education.
